I just read that it will be no longer allowed to completely remove facial hair of your horse. And by this I mean the sense hairs round the mouth and the hairs in the ears. In the future it will be included in all the official guidelines for breeding, sport and equestrian businesses. And then you are not allowed to participate in any events, competitions or even breed is your horse has completely shaven ears. In Germany it is already forbidden by law.

I ran across this Dutch article in horse.nl which covers the topic of a horse’s brain. Always interesting. It starts off mentioning that a horse has a big head, but only a tiny brain. If you were to place them next to a human brain, it would be more noticeable how small they actually are.
