What if half the boarding stables were taken over by people know how to survive through excellence in the service industry? Who would hire people with horse knowledge but manage their barn based on service. How empty would the other half be? This has no reference to my current stable, I enjoy myself there, but my post is based on shared stories from others and my past experiences. Like so many of you I have my horses at a boarding stable. These usually make a living out of boarding horses, trade, riding school and training in various combinations thereof. Read more

Designing My Own Tack Room

Designing my own tack room, that would be great. Because this would mean first of all that I own a barn where I can keep horses. But even designing a tack room for the barn where I rent stalls would be fun. The only problem is, I have quite expensive taste. Read more
