Rubinstein’s damsire, Angelo xx, was one of the most successful Westphalian sires and the highest winning Thoroughbred stallion of all German Warmblood breeds. His sons include Ahlerich (ridden by Dr. Klimpke for 3 Olympic, 2 World Championship, and 4 European Championship Gold Medals). Angelo xx and his full brother, Amon xx (Olympic dressage for Holland), are full brothers of Rubinstein’s dam, Antine. Read more

I was in college when these two were made their rightful path to fame. Dr. Klimke has won 6 gold and 2 bronze Olympic medals, which is quite an achievement. Ahlerich was his most prestigious horse as the combination won gold medals in the Olympics, World and European Championship and seven German National Championships. Read more
